oh không có gì cả. cái poll này chủ yếu là để cho mọi người xem có ai cùng major của mình không thôi, và mình cũng hơi tò mò muốn biết major của những người khác là gì

You mean computer science ? ---> it is more for software == you must write program and debug all day long . Or you can design some programs on paper work and at the end must translate them into code and run, test, debug.....

Engineering ---> more for hardware . After you graduate you can control the whole lab, or design something which you can some more classes in graphic design

So the answer is the depend on what you really like to do and love to do it . Well, it does not hurt to try both first so that you can see what path you should choose

    Good luck

  • My school definition of my major:

Computer engineers are trained in various fields of computer science and engineering. They engage in the design and analysis of digital computers and networks, including software and hardware. Computer design includes topics such as computer architecture, VLSI circuits, computer graphics, design automation, system software, data structures and algorithms, distributed computing, and computer networks. Computer Engineering courses include programming in high-level languages such as C++ and Java; use of software packages for analysis and design; design of system software such as compilers, debuggers, and operating systems; and application of computers in solving engineering problems. Laboratories in both hardware and software experiences are integrated within the Computer Engineering curriculum.

Oh, UCI is a good school for computer science since there are alot of companies around there, you can easily get internship. Once you have intership, you can get a job after you graduate. I strongly recommend get summer internship. It is rather to slow down the graduation date than without experience after graduation.

Computer Engineering must prolong your graduation date compare with computer science. Nowadays, computer science is hard to find a job compare with computer engineering.

    So your call :)

    Good luck

This is a very good question. Neither do I :)

Why you need to know certain nick with certain major? If you have questions related to anyone, there will have somebody to answer your questions.

FYI: I don't vote for this poll ;)
