Do you need a driver license to ride a motobike in Vietnam ???

Does anyone know if one needs a driver license to ride a motorbike in Vietnam ? I heard certain motorbikes (small cyclinders??) do not need a license to ride them, is it true?

I am going back to VN this summer and would love to ride a motorbike myself to go around town but I do not want to get pulled over by a cọp Any comments ???

dónt worry, if u get pull over, just give the cop some green and he will let u go

why worry now ? when you back to Vn , then ask some 1 , they'll let you know

1st If u r 16 and older, don't need license for motobike under 50cc. If you want to ride higher than 50cc , then u need to be 18 at least and have a license

2nd, Moped don't need a license here in VA

3rd, not all cops are corrupted. give money as ur own risk.

1st how old are u. if u look like 16+ they wont pull u over.. and if they do. jus speak english to them. they will let u go. coz they cbf getting translater and crap.. lol.. u dun really need a liscense in vn.. almost any one ride motorbike. my cuz ride it wen he in yr 7 o.O, jus dun try to do wheelie or driving with 5 ppl sitting on ur bike. lol

Yes, you need driver license. You cánt drive untill jo 18.. If you get pull over then give them money.... just dónt directly give it to them, u can tell them like " em moi anh tien uong nuoc".
Remember you cánt have 3 people on the car .. Try not 2 cuz i saw few cars got pull over by 113.. and they sent the driver to police station..
Remember when u get to Tan bay tan son nhat. Give money to the one that check your passport. If you dónt then they will fool you around.. just like they did on me.

lolz!! I went to Vietnam last summer!!
I ran over the orange light! the stupid cop didnt see, he pulled me over and asked if I know what I did... I told him I ran over the orange light!!... then he asked for the motobike paper... then my driver license... I told him I was from country side... theo mẹ lên fụ bác bán bòn bon... and my auntie were there... he asked me how I like him to charge me... keep the motobike for a month... or pay him 50.000 vnd (3 dollars) lolz.. I was like.. OKay! I pay 50.000 before I left... I said "cam' ơn chú nhiều hen!!! Bye bye!!! FUCK YOU!" lolz...
