• Leona Lewis recently re-recoreded Minnie Riperton orininal realeased "Lovin' You" I like them both but I like Minnie a llittle bit better because of her angelic high pitch voice. What do you think?

• I like the original ver better ... lewis's voice vibration is kind of weak, but she is cute thought
  Besides, Riperton put lots of emotion on her performance ... probably because she wrote the song

  Right on the money ĐC, although most artists when re-doing someone else song they wanted to be different from the original so they kind of took some elements out of the song and in this case was the emotion that somewhat lacking in the new song. And cute she is ...

  Angelic or not is just a matter of opinion and yet Minnie certainly has a wide and bigger audience with this song than Leona. This was a widely international recognized song of Minnie.

  Yeah sis hope she has staying power but I doubt it, for once she doesn't write her own stuff and if she does it, it has to be on a consistent basic like any other artists that has prolong staying power.
