    In making candy or sugar syrups, sucrose is boiled in water with a little acid, such as lemon juicẹ why does the produce mixture taste sweeter than the initial sucrose solution?

  • I got the answer.

    Sucrose becomes two mono saccharides, which is fructose and gluctose, in acid solution. 2 monosaccharides taste sweeter than one mono....
