Hard drive problem

i have one external hdd that is recognize by all of my pc except one, i also use another hard drive to test out wether or not that usb slot is dead, but it was working fine. anyone know how to fix it?

my second problem is i have a movie file in the hard drive, it works fine on the pc. but after plugging it into my tv it only play picture no sound. is it the hard drive or the movie file? thanks in advance

1. your hd driver. If you can't figure out which driver to remove, try different usb port
2. How do you play the file? tv is just for display, right you need to connect audio for sound.

1. never heard of this before lol. i thought external hard drive là plug n play mà, and i tried both usb port in the front already still didn't work, lazy to try the back lol but 2 cái slot đó work for other hard drive or any usb plug in. and this hard drive work fine on other computer. the other computer that it worked on uses the same window cd i installed on the one that doesn't work. http://sdd.toshiba.com/main.aspx?Path=StorageSolutions/ExternalHardDri ves/USB_Portable_Ext_Hard_Drive_-_250_to_500GB i cant find the driver for this

2. i think samsung tv allows you to play movie from usb or it just the LED one, before phải burn ra data disc to play .avi on a divx player, now my LED tv lets me just plug the hard drive in with the movie files in it and play. works fine before, either it the hard drive or it a different audio codec for the .mkv file

1. Yup, plug & play, but usb driver might be corrupted. Move your lazy butt. Try those on the back, they will install driver. If it works, then you can only use the back usb to read it.

2. you meant you play mkv file b4 and it worked???

1. cai' hdd nay` chi? transfer file tu comp ra roi` di coi phim thoi^, gio phai mua cai usb extension hay la phai keo cai pc ra each time to plug it in... too much work lol
2.yeah, my samsung led can play mkv file i nvr knew it was blu-ray format

chú, do you know how to make a home network between xp and win7 ?

I haven't tried to setup home network like that yet. Just try to share drive or folder, use same workgroup, set firewall or security programs to allow networking ... It should work.

ooh, tank kiu all i need is to buy an ssd and another led tv and my room is finish để mai check cái usb slot in the back... if it doesn't work... this is so nhãm >.<
