Tenchi Muyo Anime series

• I wonder if anyone heard about Tenchi Muyo. It was one of the first anime series ever shown in North America. Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and some others make anime become very popular in America and other countries. Tenchi Muyo has 4 different series:
  - Tenchi Muyo OVA: has the longest time span with the first part aired at early 1990s while the 3rd part, the latest part up until now, was aired in 2004. This OVA alone was considered as a classic anime. Main characters are Tenchi Masaki, princess Ayeka, her littles sister princess Sasami of Jurai empire which rules most part of the universe, space pirate Ryoko, Ryoouki (the cabbit which can transform into a spaceship), the greatest scientist of the universe Washuu, and Mihoshi, detective of galaxy police. These people hold such a power that they can easily conquer any part of the universe. However, all they care about is how to win Tenchi's love .
  - Tenchi in Universe: similiar background with the OVA but tells the story in a different way.
  - Tenchi in Tokyo: share same characters with OVA but are completely different. The plot is not very good compared to others.
  - Tenchi Muyo GXP: share some background but main characters are different. Main male character is Seina Yamada. He's so unlucky that he brings disaster wherever he goes. He is recruited as a galaxy police by mistake. One of the twists is he uses his bad luck to lure and capture space pirate. Who can think that unluck as a weapon? This series can be compared with the OVA series.
  Here's just what i find interesting about this series. It took a lot of time for me to down the whole series from IRC. Please post your thought if you have a chance to watch.
